Golf Courses in South Africa - Irene Golf Course

The course is situated in the Irene village. It is a scenic course with a river running through the course and an icredible collection of bird-life. The 18 hole par 72 course was designed in 1915 by J Smuts and JH v/d Byl. The greens consist of bent grass and the fairways is made up out of kikuyu grass.
